These five outstanding movies on Netflix are about to leave the streaming platform this weekend, on Sunday, February 1, 2026. This weekend is the last chance for Netflix viewers to watch them before they're gone.
These five films consist of all-time classics across multiple genres, such as thriller, drama, and action, and even include a recent Best Picture winner. Don't miss your opportunity to watch all of these acclaimed movies on Netflix while there's still time.
Parasite
Parasite is one of the greatest movies of the 21st century, winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2020 and three other Oscars. Parasite was directed and co-written by Bong Joon Ho and is universally acclaimed.
A Korean dark comedy and psychological drama, Parasite follows a family, the Kims, that is struggling financially and find opportunities to work for a wealthy family, the Parks. What ensues is a mind-bending tale of greed and class discrimination in this poignant and highly entertaining tragic thriller.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
The original 2005 spy action comedy Mr. & Mrs. Smith will be leaving Netflix and Prime Video in the coming days. Starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in one of only two onscreen performances together, this is one of the best and most nostalgic popcorn comedies of the 2000s.
Pitt's John Smith and Jolie's Jane Smith are two lethal assassins who work for rival companies. They also happen to be madly in love, which goes sideways when each is tasked with taking out the other as a high-profile target.
Groundhog Day
One of Bill Murray's most memorable performances exists in Groundhog Day, which will ironically be leaving Netflix just days before the actual holiday. The movie tells the classic tale of Murray's narcissistic weatherman protagonist, who is trapped living the same day over and over again. The iconic film has spawned dozens of similar projects, making it a must-watch movie that's great for the entire family.
28 Days Later
Before there was the critically acclaimed 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, which is currently in theaters, there was the original zombie horror movie 28 Days Later. Starring Oscar winner Cillian Murphy and directed by Oscar winner Danny Boyle, this is an all-time classic dystopian sci-fi thriller that is required viewing for all horror fans.
The Terminator
The Terminator is perhaps the biggest movie leaving Netflix this weekend, or at the very least the one that has made the largest impact in film history. Starring legendary actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Terminator is one of the greatest action movies ever made, directed by the great James Cameron. Whether it's for the 10th rewatch or the very first time, don't miss The Terminator on Netflix this weekend before it's removed.
