Louis Tomlinson has revealed he will soon be Down Under as part of his up coming How DidI Get I Here? world tour.

The pop star confirmed that details for the Aussie leg of his massive global jaunt would be announced soon during a chat on The Smallzy Show on Friday.

The former One Direction star announced his plans only hours after former band mate Harry Styles confirmed his own 2026 Australian shows.

During his chat with KIIS network host Kent 'Smallzy' Small, Louis said he 'loved' Australia and his fans here would never miss out on a world tour.

'I always find the question [whether I would come Down Under] funny because as long as I've been touring, I've always come to Aus,' he said during the chat.

He continued: 'It's inevitable. I love it there, I love it. So yeah, I'll definitely, definitely be there. I think we're just - It can't be too long until we announce, to be honest.'

After Smallzy pressed him for more details, Louis reiterated that the Aussie shows were definitely on.

'No, it's happening... It's happening. The tour's happening. Get your tickets soon.'

Louis was last Down Under in 2023. He will begin his 50+ date tour in Germany in March with the jaunt including gigs across Europe, the US, the UK and now Australia.

So far, Louis, whose 2022 album Faith in the Future secured number one in the UK, has released three singles for his new album How Did I Get Here?, titled Imposter, Palaces, and Lemonade.

Lemonade managed to crack the top 30 in the UK singles chart after being released in September but follow-up single Palaces failed to make a splash.

It comes after Harry Styles announced he was hitting the stage for his Together Together Tour this May - his first time on the road since 2023.

The 31-year-old pop star has announced he is set to play a seven-city 'global' residency - including four stadium shows Down Under.

The hitmaker will appear at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium on November 27 and 28 before heading to Sydney for the final two shows on December 12 and 13.

Still, Harry's decision to play 50 shows in just six countries, including the UK, US, Netherlands, Mexico, Brazil, and Australia, has left some of his fans unhappy.

Fans did not hold back as they filled his Instagram with angry comments.

'Harry, in my opinion, you need to be together in more parts of the world,' messaged one disappointed follower, while another added, 'Nah real cuz what do you mean world tour with 7 cities??'

'Tour, not world tour,' said another fan, while a fourth Styles enthusiast joked, 'That's funny, cos I thought I heard world tour.

Tickets for Harry's Australian shows will go on sale to the general public on January 30 at staggered times.

Fans who pre-order Harry's new album will get early access to tickets alongside American Express cardholders from January 27.

Live Nation is also offering a presale on January 29. There are also VIP experience packages available, including a meet and greet with the star.

Along with shows in Sydney and Melbourne, Harry has gigs in Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, and a 30-night residency in New York.

Harry sent fans into meltdown after announcing his new single Aperture is dropping on Friday amid his return to music.
