ACE Eddie Awards Nominations: ‘Sinners’, ‘One Battle’, ‘F1’, ‘Weapons’, ‘Wicked: For Good’ & More

American Cinema Editors has stitched together the nominees for its 76th annual Eddie Awards next month. See the full list below.

Vying for the marquee Best Edited Feature Film (Drama, Theatrical) prize are the editors for Best Picture Oscar nominees F1, Hamnet, Sentimental Value and Sinners, along with Weapons. Up for the Feature Film (Comedy, Theatrical) award are Bugonia, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another — all also in the Best Picture race — Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery and Wicked: For Good.

Winners will be revealed during the 2026 ACE Eddie Awards ceremony on Friday, February 27, at UCLA’s Royce Hall.

Hopefuls in the Animated Feature category are the editors of The Bad Guys, KPop Demon Hunters and Zootopia 2, and the Documentary Feature race features Becoming Led Zeppelin, It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley, John Candy: I Like Me, Ladies & Gentlemen … 50 Years of SNL Music and The Perfect Neighbor.

Since the turn of the 21st century, the Eddie winner for theatrical drama has gone on to score the Academy Award for Best Editing 14 of 26 times — but only once in the past five years, for OppenheimerWicked and Emilia Pérez took the top film honors at the 2025 Eddies, with Anora‘s Sean Baker going on the win the Oscar for Best Film Editing.

ACE said in the summer that it is adding a new category for Edited Shorts for the 2026 Eddies.

Two-time Oscar-winning director Ang Lee is set to receive the American Cinema Editors‘ 2026 Filmmaker of the Year honor next month. The group also will honor Emmy-winning editor-director Arthur Forney and Oscar-nominated editor Robert Leighton with ACE Career Achievement awards. Kim Larson, Managing Director and Head of YouTube’s Creator and Gaming team, will accept the ACE Visionary Award for YouTube during the ceremony.
