The Big Game is coming up in just a couple short weeks. No sense watching it on that old, busted up TV of yours. You can upgrade to something substantially better without having to skip rent for a month. Amazon’s own brand of Fire TVs (I’m talking about the TVs, not the streaming sticks) are are great, low price option year round. But every so often, the price drops down even lower where you can save a butt load. This is one of those times. The newest model of the 4-Series 4K Ultra HD smart TV has come down as much as 40% for a limited time.
There are three size models to choose from with this particular set of Amazon Fire TVs. The smallest model measures in a 43 inches and has come down from $330 to just $200—saving you $130. The medium option measuring in at 50 inches, and its price has come down from $400 to just $240—a savings of $160. Then last we have the larger 55-inch model which has dropped from $460 to just $280—a difference of $180.
The screen is capable of displaying content in up to 4K resolution. It also supports HDR10+ which gives you brighter brighter and darker darks, making images on screen appear more true to life that you’d experience without HDR.
The Fire TV has the option to be set to an ambient mode where you can have it display artwork when not in use. Built-in sensors will wake the display up to show what you have selected when you enter the room.
Fire TV and Alexa-enabled
As an Amazon smart TV is designed with the Fire TV interface. Download all the streaming apps from Netflix to Disney Plus to Hulu to HBO Max (if that’s what they’re still calling it by the time this gets published).
The remote is built with Alexa voice support. You can just hold the button down and speak into it the title of the movie or TV show you’re looking to watch. It’s much easier to just say “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,” than it is to type out all of that one letter at a time on those on-screen keypads.
For a limited time, Amazon is also offering an upgrade to Alexa+ Early Access, the newly buffed version of its AI assistant when you buy this smart TV, included with a Prime subscription. You can get the TV today for as low as just $200 while the deal is active.
