Antoni Porowski has responded to a fan who said the behind-the-scenes 'drama' among the Queer Eye cast 'kills the vibe' of the show.

Amid the reboot's tenth and final season, Karamo Brown cancelled multiple morning show appearances while saying he was scared of being bullied.

To mark a decade on the show Porowski, 41, took to Instagram to reflect and share memories from the series.

His caption read, 'It’s not about how or even that it ended — the journey of it all was the part I’ll hold close to my heart. thank you to each and every one of you who watched, laughed, cried, screamed, binged, and related to the stories we were lucky enough to be a part of for almost a decade. tenth and final season of @queereye is now on Netflix.'

One fan wrote in the comments, '[Not gonna lie], the backstage drama kinda kills the vibe of the show. I’m not motivated to watch you all portray to be a big happy family on every episode knowing it’s all fake. If you can’t work out your own mess, how can you be in charge of fixing someone else’s life?'

The Canadian media personality responded, 'A lot of us come from complicated families and still have jobs and positive things we’re passionate about. Authenticity is about being honest about the complexities of life and knowing two things can exist at the same time ❤️.'

In addition to Porowski and Brown, the Queer Eye cast includes Jonathan Van Ness, Tan France, and Jeremiah Brent – who replaced Bobby Berk in season nine.

Brown, 45, pulled out of a planned appearance on CBS Mornings on Tuesday.

In the wake of his absence, the remaining co-stars were quizzed by host Gayle King about what happened.

'We call it a "Fab Five" but one of the Fab Five is not here,' she said at the top of the interview.

'We received word less than an hour ago that Karamo Brown is not going to be joining us today.'

She went on to read a portion of Brown's statement, saying that the reality star 'apologized for not attending' and thanked the show's audience.

'I want to rip the Band-Aid off and just get it out of the way so we can really talk about the show,' King explained.

'I hope everyone remembers the main theme I have tried to teach them over the past decade, which is to focus on and to protect their mental health and peace from people or a world who seek to destroy it; which is why I can’t be there today,' Brown wrote in the portion read by the host.

'His assistant also says he's worried about being bullied,' she added.

Porowski responded: 'I will say, our Queer Eye family – we've been doing this for almost a decade, which is pretty wild to believe. And families are complicated. And we're definitely not excluded from that.

'And while that is definitely true, we're also here to showcase these incredible heroes that we have and really honor the legacy of this past decade of our lives.'

Several cast members shared social media posts acknowledging the premiere of the show’s final season on Wednesday.

France wrote on Instagram, 'Happy Final day of this Queer Eye journey, to my incredible cast mates, incredible heroes, incredible crew and you incredible audience who have made my wildest of wildest dreams come true the past 9 years of my life! I will love and miss you!'

Meanwhile, Van Ness wrote on his account, 'I stand in so much gratitude, I honor this experience and all it did, and I am so excited to see whats next.'

Brown has unfollowed his former castmates on Instagram, except for Jeremiah Brent, who joined the cast in season nine.
