Bella Hadid and Adan Banuelos Reportedly Split After Two Years Together

Bella Hadid is reportedly a single woman.

After two years together, the model appears to have called it quits with professional equestrian Adan Banuelos. A source tells Entertainment Tonight that The Beauty star and Banuelos, who first sparked romance rumors back in 2023 after being spotted together in Texas, made the tough decision to end their relationship. ScreenRant has reached out to Hadid's reps for comment.

While news of the alleged breakup comes as a shock to Hadid's fans, it's also one the 29-year-old is still doing her best to process, with the source telling ET that Hadid is attempting to distract herself with work and spending time with friends amid the split.

Page Six, who also reported the news, claims the split is not a surprise, however, with a source telling the outlet that the Orabella founder and Banuelos, a rodeo star who specialized in horse cutting — a rodeo discipline in which a rider separates a single cow from a herd — had an on-again, off-again dynamic, calling the relationship "tumultuous." Page Six also cited Hadid's recent solo appearances while promoting her Ryan Murphy-created series, and a winter vacation sans-Banuelos as signs of troubled times for the couple.

The alleged breakup comes nearly two years after Hadid made her relationship with Banuelos Instagram official in a February 2024 post, in which she shared photos from her 27th birthday in October 2023. The loved-up post included photos of her and Banuelos holding hands, and sharing sweet glances as they marked the occasion with food, family, and friends in what appeared to be a horse stable.

Hadid and the 28-year-old athlete were first spotted together that same month, when they were photographed kissing in Fort Worth, Texas. While the actress has remained largely quiet about her relationship with Banuelos, in a May 2025 interview with British Vogue, she shared how she met him after moving to Texas, where her mom, Yolanda Hadid, and her stepdad were building a house.

I'm with my stepdad. We move cows, we’re on trail rides, and I’m starting to feel a little better, but just still dealing with my own stuff. Then, the next day, I meet my boyfriend. I saw him walk in and it was like a gust of fresh air.

Not long after, Hadid moved into Banuelos' 5th-wheel trailer, before purchasing her own home in the Lone Star state.

So he basically came in, walked into the exhibit hall, which is where we do all of the show stuff. I was getting a cowboy hat fitted. I just saw him and I was like that's the… I always wanted the cowboy.

Banuelos was equally smitten, gushing over Hadid in an August 2024 appearance on the Along for the Ride with Andrea Fappani, calling her one of "the kindest" people he'd ever met.

I can't tell you how happy I am. I can't tell you how fortunate I am. This young lady is one of the kindest, biggest-hearted, and sweet person...I mean I didn’t know God made ’em like that. How beautiful she is on the outside is nowhere near compared to what she's like as a human being.

Bella Hadid and Banuelos have yet to break their silence on the alleged split.
