Chrissy Teigen reveals bizarre secret to 12-year marriage with husband John Legend

Chrissy Teigen revealed a bizarre secret to maintaining her 12-year marriage with her husband John Legend.

'For all he knows, I have never farted or pooped,' the 40-year-old Cravings founder confessed to E! News on Tuesday.

'You got to keep the sexy and preserve the sexy in a little bit of ways. I won't say that John necessarily does that all the time, but I make sure that I do.'

Teigen originally met the 47-year-old EGOT champ in 2006 while shooting his Stereo music video, and they promptly 'closed the deal the first night.'

The inseparable couple enlist four nannies to help care for their four children - daughter Luna, 9; son Miles, 7; daughter Esti, 3; and son Wren, 2.

'She loves ice skating, she loves dance, she loves cooking,' Teigen said of their eldest child.

'Every Sunday morning, she's down at the rink. She loves it, but there's nothing that she really wants to devote her entire life to.'

The Self-Conscious podcaster aborted their son Jack at 20 weeks gestation in 2020 when their doctor informed them that she and the baby would not survive otherwise.

Teigen is currently judging up-and-coming performers across a range of categories for Netflix's live five-week reboot of Star Search alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jelly Roll as well as host Anthony Anderson.

The original show - hosted by Ed McMahon from 1983-1995 - famously helped launch the careers of future stars such as Beyoncé, Adam Sandler, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Dave Chappelle and Christina Aguilera.

The wisecracking presenter's elusive father Ron Teigen Sr. called her with his review of her performance: 'Hi sweetheart. Man, I just love your new show. It's really unusual. I watch it both nights. Give me a call when you got time.'

Teigen doesn't post much about the 85-year-old electrician, who was moved into an assisted living community following his 2024 hospitalization.

Ron got his daughter's famous face tattooed on his arm by artist Mark Mahoney in honor of her 33rd birthday in 2018, and the next year he filed for divorce from her mother Vilailuck 'Pepper Thai' Teigen.

Teigen keeps busy as co-founder of the dog food company Kismet and founder of Cravings which has expanded from cookbooks into kitchen accessories, dishes and robes.

The half-Thai Utah native - who boasts 41.4 million social media followers - is also every bit the influencer with paid partnerships for brands like Sanofi, Chewy, Amazon, Michaels Stores and Nex Playground.

For his track Church, Legend (born Stephens) will next compete for the best gospel performance/song trophy at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, which air February 1 on CBS/Paramount+.

The Ohio-born R&B belter is also featured on the Clipse, Pusha T and Malice track The Birds Don't Sing, which is nominated for best rap song.

Legend will soon resume coaching duties on season 29 of The Voice - premiering February 23 on NBC - alongside Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine as well as host Carson Daly.

The Lovedº1 founder doesn't kick off his 21-date An Evening of Songs & Stories tour until March 18 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL.
