Dragon Ball Confirms New Game at 40th Anniversary Live Stream
Following a brief introduction, the latest footage of Dragon Ball's next game project was showcased to the eager attendees at its "Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri" event. Along with hopes being rekindled thanks to Dragon Ball Super's anime return, this will surely keep the fans happy as they dive back into the rich, multifaceted world of Dragon Ball video games.
The game is planning additional details to be revealed between April 18-19 for Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026. Featuring its player character originally designed by Akira Toriyama, Age 1000 has been in development for approximately seven years now.
Dragon Ball Game's Age 1000 Title, Explained
Given the game's title and its coincidental parallel position on the timeline as Dragon Ball Online, this, combined with the mysterious character able to achieve Super Saiyan status while clad in Capsule Corp clothes, it's heavily likely to feature similar elements. With Mira, evil Namekians, the Red Pants Army, and the Paella Gang, the timeline already has plenty of threats.
While little else is known about the title as of yet, it promises original adventures outside the events of other Dragon Ball anime while staying firmly locked in with modern players. It teases a new journey featuring this unnamed protagonist, possibly a nod to the Great Saiyaman. However, speculation aside, more will be revealed this spring.
