Trailer: Dirty Rotten Scandals Coming Soon To E! Entertainment
E! is shining a light on the dark side of television.
Dirty Rotten Scandals, a new explosive docuseries, will share a glimpse into the underbelly of Dr. Phil, America's Next Top Model and The Price is Right. From allegations of exploitation and discrimination to sexual harassment lawsuits, former guests and crew detail their experiences on the beloved shows.
Premiering March 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the doc will follow guests and employees from The Dr. Phil Show who allege coercive production tactics and corruption behind the scenes.
"This groundbreaking documentary demonstrates how the promise of televised help may have become a platform for profit and exploitation," the Jan. 29 press release explains, "revealing the dark side of America's self-help industry and the real human cost of entertainment masquerading as therapy."
On March 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, strut into the wicked world of America's Next Top Model with two back-to-back episodes of Dirty Rotten Scandal featuring former judge Janice Dickinson and season 17 winner Lisa D'Amato.
"First-hand interviews with the contestants cast light on behind-the-scenes secrets and the steep prices they paid for a shot at being 'on top,'" the release notes. "The models come forward to correct the record on the real story behind the cultural phenomenon that was America's Next Top Model."
As Janice explains in the trailer, "America's Next Top Model really tortured these girls for Tyra Banks' ego."
Lisa attests to the comment, adding, "It wasn't a modeling competition. It was psychological warfare."
The series will conclude March 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with viewers coming on down to a closer look at The Price Is Right and late host Bob Barker, who held the mic from 1972 until 2007.

Along with "Barker's Beauties," referring to the models on the show, the two episodes and former crew members reflect on their time working during Barker's 35-year reign.
The two episodes will dissect, per the release, "the complex truth behind long-rumored toxic workplace operations, sexual harassment and discrimination allegations, and multiple lawsuits that defined a very different era in Hollywood,"
Model Claudia Jordan—who sued The Price is Right producer Phil Wayne Rossi for sexual harassment and Barker for creating a hostile work environment and wrongful termination—shares her experience on the show from 2000 to 2003. (Neither Barker nor Rossi responded to the allegations.)
As she put it, "The Price Is Right was very much a place about retaliation."
