Margot Robbie Reacts to Rumors Jacob Elordi Is the Next James Bond
Whatever Margot Robbie’s soul is made of, she knows how to dazzle on a red carpet.
So when it came time for her Wuthering Heights press tour, she made sure to lean into 1840s-inspired fashion Emily Brontë would recognize—with twists worthy of the sultry, Emerald Fennell adaptation.
Indeed, while much of Margot’s press tour fashion (so far) has featured corsets and billowing gowns, she’s modernized the looks with cut outs, short hem lines, revealing lace and blood-red coloring to match the film—all with the help of stylist Andrew Mukamal.
After all, there’s a reason Emerald’s adaptation sees the title put in quotes, a hint that her version will be a departure from the original text—an idea Margot has fully embodied for her press tour looks.
Take, for instance, the Schiaparelli gown she wore to the film’s Jan. 28 premiere. While the dress started off traditionally enough with a sweetheart neckline, the skintight black and nude lace soon gave way to a multi-layered billowing black and red skirt.
However, the real pièce de resistance, however, was the diamond locket she wore at her throat. The necklace wasn’t any old piece of jewelry, but rather the Taj Majal diamond that was gifted to Elizabeth Taylor by her then-husband Richard Burton decades earlier.
“Cartier put it on a chain,” Margot explained to E! News' Will Marfuggi at the film’s premiere. “It has a pretty incredible history so we thought it would be nice.”

After all, Elizabeth and Richard’s tumultuous romance—which saw them married and divorced twice—in a way pays homage to the characters within Emily’s pages.
“If I was to find a real life someone as a somewhat modern-day reference,” Margot explained, “Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton would’ve been my Catherine and Heathcliff.”
But in bringing her own version of Catherine to life, the Barbie star had her own perfect partner in Jacob Elordi.
And when the pair attended the Wuthering Heights photocall at Beverly Hills’ Greystone Mansion hours before the film’s world premiere, Jacob’s cropped Chanel blazer complemented Margot’s look, allowing her red snakeskin Dilara Findikoglu FW25 RTW corset and mini skirt to shine.
But when not in bright red outfits, Margot has still stunned in more understated all-black or all-white looks. Like when she arrived at Jimmy Kimmel Live! in a black, lacy McQueen SS26 dress.
