Hailey Bieber's sister Alaia looks tense in first outing since assault charges were filed - as she faces jail time

Hailey Bieber’s sister Alaia Baldwin Aronow has been spotted for the first time since being charged over her 2024 assault arrest - and she looked anything but relaxed.

The model, 33, was seen out running errands on Thursday, just two days after prosecutors formally filed charges stemming from her chaotic 2024 arrest.

Aronow was taken into custody in February 2024 after allegedly becoming unruly at Club Elan in Savannah, Georgia, where she is accused of striking one victim ‘in the genitals’, pulling hair from another, and even throwing a used tampon at a bartender.

If convicted, she could face up to a year behind bars, with her arraignment scheduled for April 23.

The stress of it all appeared to show as she stepped out looking tense in a casual ensemble.

Keeping a low profile under a wide-brimmed straw hat, the eldest Baldwin daughter rocked tie-dye shorts and a simple white T-shirt.

On Monday, Georgia prosecutors charged her with four misdemeanors, including simple battery, simple assault, battery and criminal trespass.

In a statement to Daily Mail, Aronow's attorneys Drew Findling and Cris Schneider shared: 'We remain absolutely confident, there will be a positive resolution.' 

Back in February 2024, chaos erupted at Savannah’s Club Elan when the owner called 911, claiming Aronow had gotten into a physical altercation with staff and refused to leave, TMZ reported.

Employees said Aronow wandered into the staff-only restroom despite being told she couldn’t use it and was redirected to the public bathroom - but things quickly spiraled.

She allegedly became belligerent and combative, assaulting three staff members in the process.

According to reports, she yanked the hair of one security guard trying to restrain her, while another claimed she kicked him in the groin. 

Bartender Haliegh Cauley said she encountered Aronow while trying to enter the employees’ bathroom and that a ‘used’ tampon made contact with her face.

‘I said, "Listen, you guys have got to go,"’ Cauley recalled, adding Aronow had a ‘scary’ look in her eyes. 

She claimed Aronow shot back, ‘Do you not believe me? Do you want to see?’ Cauley clarified the tampon never left her grip - it simply swung up and touched her face.

Security eventually stepped in as Aronow reportedly began ‘swinging’ at the guards.

Cauley said she planned to file a lawsuit, insisting, ‘That's just not appropriate and that's very uncalled for, especially when somebody's trying to help you.’

Aronow told officers she was acting in self-defense and insisted the incident was being overblown. 

A police report obtained by E! said she initially denied throwing the tampon but later admitted she did, with video allegedly showing her grabbing a guard’s hair and hitting another ‘in the genitals.’

Her attorney told TMZ at the time: ‘On February 24, 2024, Ms. Aronow traveled to Savannah, GA to celebrate the upcoming marriage of a close friend. Sadly, what should have been a celebratory girls night out, unfortunately took an unexpected turn.

'Ms. Aronow is embarrassed and saddened by the events of that night and is proactively taking the necessary steps to ensure that it never happens again.’

Aronow, a model and member of the Baldwin family, shares a four-year-old daughter, Iris, with her husband of seven years, Andrew Aronow.
