How to find and use Aketine in Arknights Endfield

1 week ago 17

Aketine is one of the more important materials to find in Arknights Endfield, and there are different ways to obtain it.

You’ll require Aketine to make Industrial Explosives, which is required to get full clear for certain areas. You might want to get 100% in these areas to become a completionist, or get access to the chests, puzzles, and more. Let’s look at how you can obtain Aketine in Arknights Endfield.

How to find Aketine in Arknights Endfield

The Valley Pass region has two specific spots where you can find Aketine. I have marked the locations in the image below so that you know where to look. Both areas are located on the Abandoned Trail. If you’re completing the main story, you’ll be introduced to this region automatically.

One of the spots is in the lower path in the northeastern part of the map. To reach the other spot, you’ll need to go north from there. While this is going to the first method to get Aketine, you can harvest a maximum of five plants from these locations.

You can also farm Aketine by getting access to Planting Tech. Once you unlock Planting Tech, you need one Seed Picker and one Planter. Once you have found the Aketine plants from the wild, feed them to the Seed Picker. The Seed Picker converts one plant into two seeds.

Put these seeds into the Planter, which will convert them into Plants. Hence, you’ll get two Plants for every plant that you originally put into the Seed Picker. Repeat the process infinite times until you find all the required Aketine.

You’ll also gain the chance to plant Aketine at the Eco Farm, but this happens late in Arknights Endfield. You’ll need to complete the Outpost quests for the Infra Station to reach this point.

How to use Aketine in Arknights Endfield?

Aketine is a key component in making Industrial Explosives. As mentioned earlier, you’ll need these explosives to clear areas on every map. Some of these blocked paths allow you to find hidden chests and treasures that are otherwise unreachable.
