Beliebers rejoice! Justin Bieber is making his return to the Grammys stage.

The "YUKON" singer is set to perform at the 2026 Grammys on Sunday, February 1, after four years away. The Grammys confirmed the exciting news in a January 28 statement, all but ending Bieber's hiatus from the award show.

Grammy winner and current Grammy nominee Justin Bieber will perform at the 2025 Grammys. The two-time Grammy winner is nominated for four Grammy Awards this year: Album of the The Year (SWAG), Best Pop Solo Performance ("DAISIES"), Best Pop Vocal Album (SWAG), and Best R&B Performance ("YUKON").

Not only has Bieber, who received four nominations for his album SWAG, not performed at the ceremony since 2022, he hasn't attended the award show since. The last time the singer took the stage at music's biggest night, was to perform his Justice hit "Peaches."

Bieber previously made a brief return to the stage in 2024 during the NHL All-Star Player draft in Toronto, but has otherwise opted out of public performances following the cancellation of his Justice World Tour in 2023.

The cancellation came amid ongoing health issues for the 31-year-old father of one, who was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome — caused when the varicella-zoster virus affects certain nerves of the face. It causes a painful rash called shingles. The rash may be mostly around the ear or may affect the ear, face and mouth. This syndrome may cause changes to hearing, taste and balance. It also may cause loss of movement on the side of the face where the shingles rash occurs — in June 2022. The diagnosis led him to cancel the remainder of his Justice tour after performing at Rock in Rio in September of that year.

At the time, Bieber shared a statement with his fans explaining his decision to take a break from touring.

This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now. So I'm going to take a break from touring for the time being. I'm going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better.

While the singer, who shares one-year-old son, Jack Blues, with wife Hailey Bieber, had performed shows in both North America and Europe leading up to his appearance in Brazil, Bieber admitted at the time that touring had taken "a real toll" on him, forcing him to make the difficult decision to step away.

Whether Justin Bieber's Grammy performance will mark the start of his return to the stage remains to be seen, but it does follow a big year for the pop star, who surprised fans with SWAG in July before following it up with SWAG II in September.

The 2026 Grammys air live Sunday at 8 p.m. EST on CBS, and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+
