Marvel's new TV show is out, and it introduces two new superpowered characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, showcasing their superhero suits. The MCU is a franchise that is known for being comics-accurate a lot of the time when it comes to the heroes' suits. While some characters have taken longer in the MCU movie timeline to get them, most have donned iconic looks.

Avengers: Doomsday's multiple trailers have touched on that topic, debuting new looks for characters like Namor, Black Panther, Cyclops, Professor X, Magneto, and more. Now, the MCU's first 2026 release continues that trend, not only introducing two superheroes but already giving them the most iconic costumes in their franchise debuts.

Marvel's New TV Show Debuts Two Superhero Suits

Warning! This article contains spoilers for Marvel's Wonder Man.Marvel's Wonder Man is out now, with all 8 episodes of the Marvel Spotlight show now available to stream on Disney+. Wonder Man is not your usual superhero series, as its focus is completely unlike the rest of the MCU. Instead of big CGI fights, superpowers, setting MCU-wide events, and so on, Wonder Man focuses on Simon Williams' dream of becoming a big-time actor.

Simon wants to play Wonder Man in the character's movie remake after having watched the original film and being touched by it as a child. By the end of the Marvel series, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Marvel character gets to don Wonder Man's comics-accurate suit. In the Marvel series, Simon can be seen wearing a sleeveless leather suit with a red "W" on his chest.

The design is completed by a pair of reddish sunglasses. Simon Williams is not the only Marvel hero to wear a superhero suit in Wonder Man. Earlier in the MCU TV show, Byron Bowers' DeMarr Davis, aka Doorman, can also be seen wearing the obscure Marvel character's superhero suit. The MCU Doorman costume consists of black clothes, including a leather jacket, and a black mask with white diamond-shaped eyes.

How Do Wonder Man And Doorman's MCU Suits Compare To Marvel Comics?

Simon Williams' Wonder Man lifting something heavy in Marvel Comics

While similar to Marvel Comics' Wonder Man suit, the MCU version of the costume has a few differences. For instance, there are no red bands on Simon Williams' arms in the live-action series. Additionally, the material of the suit looks like leather in the MCU, whereas it is a sleeker, form-fitting spandex in the comics. Wonder Man's red gloves/gauntlets are swapped for mostly silver elements.

As for Doorman, the MCU take on the character's suit is notably low budget, given it is a costume Demarr wears for his Doorman character alongside Josh Gad in the in-universe movie Cash Grab. In Marvel Comics, Doorman's suit is more striking, mixing an all-black bodysuit with a long white cape, white gloves, and white boots. Wonder Man's two MCU suits are iconic, but with a modern touch.
