North West is clapping back at her haters.

The 12-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West went on Instagram Live Monday, and addressed some of the comments she's been receiving about her black grills.

During the livestream, which was shared to X, North clarified that the mouth accessory — which are in fact removable and often worn over teeth as jewelry — was just a fashion statement, and nothing more.

Why is my teeth black? Are we okay? I could take them out.

Mom Kim also made an appearance in the livestream, in which her daughter called her the "GOAT," a moment she was quick to stress to the many viewers turning into the pair's shared TikTok channel.

I hope someone recorded that. She called me the GOAT. I don't know if I'll ever get that again.

While North's bold appearance came as a shock to some, the look is nothing new, with the tween first showing off the grills in December, along with some new face jewelry — which have not been confirmed to be real piercings. The look has sparked discussion about the way North chooses to express herself, however, with fans of both the 12-year-old and her famous family taking issue with things like her bright blue hair and the finger piercings she sported while out with her mom during a trip to Rome in September.

In response to the criticism, North stood by the recent body modifications, posting a TikTok last month in which she slammed those who had something to say about her new look.

This is for everyone that's mad over a finger piercing.

She even went as far as to make a new song made with her musical dad, titled "Piercing on My Hand (Ye Version)," which was shared on North's Instagram Stories. In it, North raps, "Piercing on my hand, the other holding bands," and "No friends, just filter, you wouldn’t understand."

Kardashian defended her daughter and backed her decision to let her eldest wear certain types of clothing, piercings, and fake tattoos during a recent episode of her sister Khloé Kardashian's Khloé in Wonder Land podcast.

I'm just not a judgmental person like that, so I try not to pay attention to it. But, I think that no one knows unless they're in my shoes what I'm dealing with and how we have to manage certain things from the outside world or even close in our life that we have to go through together.

She also cleared up the misconception she believes fans have when it comes to her relationship with North.

I think like, the one misconception that people might have is like, 'Oh, she's trying to be her bestie and lets her get away with a lot.' Like, no, Northy actually has a lot of rules. [That's the] one area I do let her express herself. I love her for that, and she would do it, you know, regardless.

In addition to North West, Kardashian shares kids Saint West, 10, Chicago West, 8, and Psalm West with the YEEZUS rapper.
