It's that time of the month when PlayStation Plus reveals its free games for the upcoming month, and at least one game in the February 2026 line-up has leaked. It's from a pretty reliable source, but the game itself is leaving fans fearful over what else PS Plus has to offer in February.
Over on Reddit, a user shared the leak from reliable leaker billbil-kun over the "flagship" game from PS Plus' February Essentials catalog. The leak says it's Undisputed, a boxing game from 2023 that recieved mixed reviews at launch and continues to see fairly negative reactions to this day. Understandably, PS Plus members were feeling a bit anxious about this.
PlayStation Plus Gamers Aren't Loving This Leak
"We ain't eating well this 2026," wrote one user, who also shared an image of Undisputed's scores on Metacritic. Currently, the game has a "Mixed or Average" score of 70 from critics and a "Generally Unfavorable" score of 4.8 out of 10 from users. Over on Steam, Undisputed has a Mixed aggregated score of 3.2/5.
Considering it's allegedly the "flagship" game for February 2026's line-up, it doesn't really bode well for the other two games that will be arriving next month. "Hopefully the other two games are better," wrote another user on Reddit. "We have sometimes months, where the flagship game was just meh and another game the lineup was the best of the lineup."
And while it seems like the majority of people are disappointed with Undisputed, many are at least somewhat content with looking ahead. "Surely March will be better," reads another comment. Perhaps illustrating just how divisive 2026 has been for PS Plus so far, the reply under this simply states, "At this point, I doubt it."
It's A Divisive Start To 2026 For PS Plus
January's free monthly games were acceptable, offering up a decent platformer with Epic Mickey Rebrushed and a mixed racing experience with Need for Speed Unbound, but all the games still left plenty of subscribers disappointed. And while we don't know the additional games for February yet, Undisputed is a rough way to get things started.
The game isn't without its defenders, though. "I bought it last year and if you’re a boxing fan, I think you’ll get some fun from it. I’d say it’s a solid 7.5/10. I enjoyed my time with it and I think it’s a solid game for PS+," wrote one user on Reddit, replying to the original post. So maybe give it a try and see for yourself. If the leak is true, which feels likely, we'll all get a chance to try Undisputed out when it arrives on PlayStation Plus next month.
