Nagi Maehashi has given a heartbreaking update on the health of her beloved 13-year-old dog Dozer.
The RecipeTin Eats founder, 46, took to Instagram on Saturday to reveal her faithful golden retriever was suffering from a lung infection.
Nagi shared a video that showed her lying on the floor of what appeared to be a vet's reception area, lovingly tending to Dozer.
Captioning the clip, Nagi revealed her pooch had been in intensive care since Thursday.
'He has a lung infection and I just found out it's spread to his other lung,' she wrote.
'Given his existing medical condition (laryngeal paralysis/neurological degradation) and age (almost 14!), I've been and will continue to be by his side every minute I can.'

Continuing the heart-rending post, Nagi was full of praise for the veterinary staff.
'He's getting the best possible care @sash_vets North Ryde. I can't speak highly enough of the women and men who work here, everyone from the vets to the nurses to the surgeons to reception,' she wrote.
'Whatever happens, I will be forever grateful. Please be strong Dozer. I can't comprehend a world without you.'
Nagi also shared a photo that showed her cuddling close to Dozer with the caption: 'You have to make it, Dozer. I'm not ready to say goodbye yet.'
Another clip, which Nagi captioned, 'I love this dog so much,' showed the poorly pooch fitted with a nasal cannula to help with breathing.
Nagi also came prepared for an extended stay, with one clip showing her pre-packed lunch that featured prawns in brown butter, bread, whipped cream and a creamy Velouté sauce.
The meal was prepared by RecipeTin Eats head chef Jean-Baptiste Alexandre, who also whipped up a batch of brownies for vet staff.
'Brownies made by JB please help yourself. Love, Dozer (and JB),' a note on the brownies read.

Aside from being Nagi's faithful pooch, Dozer also serves as the Chief Taste Tester and mascot of RecipeTin Eats.
He has become somewhat of a celebrity in his own right, often appearing in Nagi's recipe videos and social media posts.
He is also the star of his very own children's book, Row, Row, Row Your Boat (With Monsters).
