Summer House's Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula may no longer be a romantic item, but they remain friends who 'laugh and joke around with each other.'

That attitude extends to their two dogs, Reese and Ryder, which they rescued together in 2022.

Cooke, 43, and Batula, 34, who announced their split after four years of marriage earlier this month, touched upon the dog-sharing subject while appearing with their fellow castmates at 92NY to talk about the Bravo show's season 10 premiere on February 2.

'They're very happy. They actually love being separated and then having some time together,' Batula said of their fur babies. 'They get tired of each other and then they're like, eh, we're done. And then they wanna go their separate ways.'

She added the pooches 'like their alone time, like their mom.'

Cooke also opened up on how Batula has been supportive of him.

That attitude extends to their two pooches, Reese and Ryder (seen in 2022), who they are co-parenting while they navigate the breakdown of their four-year marriage

'I don't think anything can kind of prepare you for a big public breakup,' Cooke told the event's moderator, Access Hollywood correspondent Emily Orozco.

'But I think that more important than anything is just making sure that Amanda is good, and it's just been amazing having her support, because it is not easy.

'We put it all out there - the good, the bad and the ugly,' he went on. 'So, we just appreciate everyone acknowledging what we're going through, and it ain't easy.'

The exes have pledged to 'embrace this next chapter' as they navigate the dismantling of their marriage.

'I think it is, we started off with a good friendship there and a foundation where we're able to just laugh and joke around with each other,' Batula noted.

Cooke added: 'In a weird way, these last couple months, we have been able to laugh a little bit more and embrace this next chapter. It's felt like a weight has been lifted up.'

The TV personalities publicly announced their relationship had ended after four years of marriage with a joint statement shared to Instagram on January 19.

'After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,' they revealed.

The former couple - seen here on the hit Bravo show - publicly announced they were splitting in a joint Instagram post on January 19

'We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.

'It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we've always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.'

The confirmation of their breakup comes after Batula reportedly went alone to the L'Oreal Academy Launch Event at The Shops in New York, on January 12.

And it was claimed that she and Cooke did not ring in 2026 together on December 31.

A source told the Daily Mail: 'Kyle and Amanda did not spend New Year's Eve together. Kyle hosted a party at Leonetta's speakeasy lounge, Leo's Famous, in New York City. Amanda was not there.

'His best friend Carl Radke showed up to support. While Kyle was not flirting with other women, he did end up hanging out with some female fans. He and his pals were the last to leave the venue that night.'

Cooke and Batula met in the summer of 2015, but after Cooke invited her onto season one of Bravo's Summer House as a guest in 2017, things got romantic between them.

In season two, they argued over whether to live with each other or not, and then in season three, Cooke admitted he cheated on Batula months before he popped the question in September 2018.

In March 2019, Batula said she had moved on from Cooke being unfaithful to her.

Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she explained: 'I have the ring, I know that he loves me, the world has changed now that he's serious about me, and I think that's all that matters.'

After they worked out their differences, Cooke and Batula planned their wedding for September 2020. However, the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to delay their big day.

They tied the knot at her family's home in New Jersey in September 2021.
