A cinematic obsessive with the filmic palate of a starving raccoon, Rob London will watch pretty much anything once. With a mind like a steel trap, he's an endless fount of movie and TV trivia, borne from a misspent youth of watching monster movies on TV, perusing the sun-faded goods at the local video rental shop, and staining his fingers with ink from the Video Movie Guide. Areas of interest include science fiction, film noir, horror flicks, '70s disaster pictures, Bond movies, '90s action, giant robots, dinosaurs, super heroes, and the exuberantly schlocky output of Cannon Films. He also enjoys both Star Trek and Star Wars when they're good, and maybe even more when they're bad. As a Canadian, he also has a vested interest in Canadian movies and TV shows, especially the cheesier ones dubbed "Canuxploitation."

An expert on Marvel Comics, he has also written for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and is a member of the Marvel Research Team. He can frequently be found pontificating on comic-book continuity or bemoaning the misfortunes of the Toronto Maple Leafs on his Twitter account.

Fans of Netflix's political thriller series The Diplomat were left with another cliffhanger last year when the show's third season came to its conclusion. What can they expect in a fourth season, and how close is it to being complete? Collider's Taylor Gates caught up with Ali Ahn at the Sundance Film Festival this week, where she's celebrating the premiere of her new family drama Take Me Home.

Ahn, who stars as CIA agent Eidra Park on the series, revealed that filming on Season 4 is underway, and teased some of the unexpected twists and turns that fans of the series have come to expect:

"We are in the middle of Season 4. I left shooting to come here [to Sundance] to celebrate with [Take Me Home co-star] Anna [Sargent]. The show just keeps getting better. Now we have Bradley Whitford joining the cast, and people are getting into some shady stuff. People that you don’t suspect might be kind of playing with some rules, and it’s not clear who the good guy is and who the bad guy is."

Last season saw Park's character get swept up in even more intrigue, as the CIA fails to prevent a suspect in their custody from committing suicide. Unable to get support from Kate Wyler (Keri Russell), who suddenly finds herself the Second Lady of the United States after her husband Hal (Rufus Sewell) gets elevated to the Vice Presidency, she intends to leave her position as the CIA's London Station Chief. However, she's ultimately persuaded to stay by her on-and-off love interest, diplomatic attaché Stuart Hayford (Ato Essandoh). Hanging over her head, however, is the attack on a British aircraft carrier, which was masterminded by now-President Grace (Allison Janney)...and the subsequent acquisition of a stolen Russian nuclear super-weapon by Grace and Hal.

What Is 'Take Me Home' About?

Written and directed by Liz Sargent in her feature film debut, Take Me Home centers around Anna (Sargent's sister Anna Sargent), a Korean-American adoptee with a cognitive disability. She lives in Florida with her parents, Bob (Victor Slezak, The Order) and Joan (Marceline Hugot, 30 Rock). However, there is trouble on the horizon, as her parents begin to decline with age; to keep the family together after a shattering loss, Anna's sister Emily (Ahn) makes her return from New York.

Season 4 of The Diplomat is now in production; no release date has yet been revealed. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.
