Even though it is a spin-off and has somewhat changed the formula in comparison to previous titles, it seems like developer ViJuDa is still maintaining the quality of gameplay that has pleased players in the past. Super Woden: Rally Edge is a racing game on Steam, so it may not be for everyone. However, fans of the genre may be delighted by not only its core gameplay but also the possibilities enabled by it.

First off, its art style, which is derivative of the larger franchise, looks as great as always, with the vehicles highlighted by cel-shading against the racing tracks. Additionally, the gameplay seems amazing.
Even though Rally Edge is a spin-off, it does look more like an evolution of the Super Woden series. You’ll get to participate in races that offer a classic arcade feel. Moreover, this game also blends this with car culture, which was one of the pillars of Gran Turismo 7, for example. This can be seen in the wide variety of vehicle options in the game and how much you can customize each one to your liking.
If you’re a fan of classic racing games with an arcade feel, where extreme realism isn’t the backbone of gameplay, then Super Woden: Rally Edge may be the game for you. It’s also backed up by a ton of positive reviews on Steam, making it all the more enticing.
