Following the arrest of civil rights attorney Nekima Levy Armstrong, the official White House account on X shared doctored images, changing her calm and collected demeanor into one of panic and tears. The original footage and images have been released, and many are questioning the purpose of the edit.

The White House official X account shared pictures of Armstrong as she was strong-armed out of a church in St. Paul, Minnesota. The images displayed on their social media page showed her in tears, as the law enforcement behind her guided her out, with her hands in cuffs. However, the image is heavily edited.

When the manipulated images were released by the Trump administration, Levy Armstrong's attorney was quick to point out the lies portrayed in the picture. He stated that she had not been crying during her arrest and had remained calm and composed during the whole situation, maintaining her dignity.

"It is just so outrageous that the White House would make up stories about someone to try and discredit them. She was completely calm and composed and rational. There was no one crying. So this is just outrageous defamation."

Further footage from the protests against a known ICE agent and pastor in the St. Paul church has emerged, completely disproving the images shared by the White House's X account. The original picture has also been circulated, proving she hadn't been in tears as she was arrested.

White House Deputy Communications Director Kaelan Dorr took to social media to justify the heavily doctored post. They came forward on X and claimed they won't apologize for the situation, and that their response is within reason for someone they consider a threat.

YET AGAIN to the people who feel the need to reflexively defend perpetrators of heinous crimes in our country I share with you this message: Enforcement of the law will continue. The memes will continue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The full video of her arrest will be released soon, proving that the images were doctored to imply she regretted her actions and was in a state of distress. Three people who took part in the protest inside the Minnesota church have all been arrested, according to the attorney general and FBI Director Kash Patel.

The three had targeted the church because of one of the listed pastors, David Easterwood. He leads an ICE field office. During the protest, Levy Armstrong, along with two others, chanted "Ice Out" and "Justice for Renee Good," in reference to the mother of three, murdered by an ICE agent.
