Harry Styles Returns to Music With Song "Aperture" After 3 Years
From Dusk Till Dawn, Zayn Malik fans will be talking about this moment.
As the “Pillowtalk” singer continues his Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live, he seemingly addressed the backlash his former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles is receiving for the prices of his Together, Together world tour.
“I just want to say a big, big thank you to every single one of you for being here tonight,” Zayn told the crowd at his Jan. 28 show in a video that circulated X. “Could’ve been anywhere but you decided to spend your night with me.”
After a long pause, Zayn cheekily added, “Hopefully the ticket prices weren’t too high.”
To uproarious applause, the 33-year-old grinned, adding, “Just saying.”
Of course, the “I Don’t Want to Live Forever” singer’s comments are tame compared to some of the fan reactions to Harry’s ticket pricing, which, according to their screenshots of Ticketmaster carts, ranged around $1,000 each—regardless of placement in the venues.
“What in the actual f--k are these prices about?” one fan wrote on X, adding screenshots of tickets that ranged up to $800. “This is actual insanity.”
Harry has yet to publicly address the pricing criticism.
Meanwhile, Zayn isn’t the only one of Harry’s former bandmates to comment on his latest era. Louis Tomlinson recently shared that he had seen clips of the “Aperture” music video circulating online.
“I’ve only seen one clip of him dancing or getting thrown around or something like that!” Louis, who recently dropped his album How Did I End Up Here? told NME in an interview published Jan. 28. “I haven’t actually heard the song in its entirety yet, but I’m sure it’s great!”

For Harry’s part, he doesn’t often publicly address his former bandmates—which also include Niall Horan and the late Liam Payne—but he has previously alluded to some beef with Zayn multiple times.
“I love those guys,” the 31-year-old said during a Saturday Night Live monologue in 2019. “They're my brothers. Niall, Louis, Liam and uh...Ringo! Yeah, that's it.”
Years earlier, Harry jabbed at Zayn for leaving One Direction in 2015, months before the band took a hiatus later that year, during a sketch on the late night comedy show where he portrayed Mick Jagger.
“Solo?” Harry joked as The Rolling Stones frontman in a 2017 Celebrity Family Feud sketch. “Why would anyone in a successful band go solo? That is insane!”
